Efforts to expand health insurance coverage to more HIV/AIDS patients

Currently, there are more than 4,200 people living with HIV in the province; of them, over 3,000 people are being treated with antiretroviral (ARV) drug. However, only 2,500 people have health insurance.

In coming time, Dong Nai will continue measures to expand health insurance coverage to more HIV/AIDS patients and complete the 90-90-90 target, with 90 percent of people living with HIV knowing their conditions, 90 percent receiving antiretroviral (ARV) treatment and 90 percent of those taking ARV therapy having undetectable levels of HIV in their body.
