(ĐN) – On May 19, Dong Nai Youth Union in cooperation with Young Physicians Association launched Day for Public Health 2108 in Trung Hoa commune, Trang Bom district.
The annual event aims to improve people’s health, strengthen the role and responsibility of youth in ensuring social security.
During the day, local children and poor residents received free medical check-ups and medicines, etc. On this occasion, the union presented 30 gifts to disadvantaged students and policy families.
At the same day, Bien Hoa city’s Youth Union in coordination with Health Office provided free healthcare to more than 200 needy people in Long Binh Tan ward. The delegation also awarded 10 scholarships worth VND400,000 each to studious poor students and 6 gifts valued at VND500,000 each to policy families in the locality.
Earlier, on May 17, Nhon Trach district’s Youth Union coordinated with Thong Nhat General Hospital to offer free health check-ups and medicines to over 130 people with difficult circumstances in Phuoc An commune
