Doctors save man from severve carotid artery injury

(ĐN)- Dong Nai-based Thong Nhat General Hospital's doctors have successfully saved a 34-year-old man whose carotid artery was seriously injured in a surgery.

 

 

(ĐN)- Dong Nai-based Thong Nhat General Hospital’s doctors have successfully saved a 34-year-old man whose carotid artery was seriously injured in a surgery.

 Earlier, on April 7, the patient, living in Vinh Cuu district, was brought to the hospital in a critical situation, with a 10-cm injury on his neck, and he had lost a lot of blood. His carotid artery had been cut by a sharp object in a robbery, which can threaten to his life.

 Doctors diagnosed his health condition and gave him an emergency operation. The patient’s health condition improved and he can eat and walk now.
