(ĐN)- According to HIV/AIDS Prevention Center, as of November-end, the province reported 189 new HIV-infected cases and five deaths from AIDS.
The figure saw a decrease 70 new cases and 15 deaths compared to the same period of last year.
In 2018, the province will continue to make measures to help local people better understand the disease to prevent infections, while expanding treatment and prevention services, improving treatment with Methadone and ARV, and increasing HIV discovery.
So far, there have been more than 7,700 people living with HIV in Dong Nai. The deadly virus also killed 2,400 people across the province.
