(ĐN)- With technical assistance from HCM city-based Cho Ray Hospital’s surgeons, Thong Nhat General Hospital’s cardiologists recently performed successfully the first case of emergency open-heart surgery in Dong Nai province.
After the surgery, the patient named Mai Thi Kim Tuyet, aged 26, a resident in Long Khanh town’s Suoi Tre commune, who suffered from serious heart disease, had recovered.
Earlier, the hospital had conducted successfully 5 other open-heart surgeries.
