(ĐN) – Long Thanh district reported 119 hand-foot-mouth cases and 217 cases of dengue fever since early this year.
The high cases of dengue fever saw in An Phuoc, Tam An, Phuoc Thai, Long Duc communes and Long Thanh town.
To control outbreaks of the two diseases, the district’s health center disinfected former disease-hit areas, raising public awareness on keeping their home free from mosquitos, as well as training teachers and parents in detecting symptoms of and protecting children from hand, foot and mouth disease.
