(ĐN) - On July 14, Dong Nai Red Cross Association provided free medical check-ups and medicines to 300 people who are heroic mothers, war invalids, policy families and poor elderly people in Vinh Cuu district.
On this occasion, the association also presented gifts worth VND200,000 each to these people.
Over the past seven days, the association offered free healthcare to 1,000 needy people in Tan Phu, Dinh Quan, Cam My and Vinh Cuu district. This is one of activities to mark the 70th anniversary of War Veterans and Martyrs Day.
On the same day, the association handed over a charity house to the family of Mr Nguyen Anh Dung, a war invalid in Nhon Trach district.
