(ĐN)- Doctors of Dong Nai Children Hospital have saved a child patient suffering from a severe attack of dengue fever and other complications caused by organ failure.
The 4-year-old girl, from Xuan Truong commune in Xuan Loc district, was transferred from Ai Nghia Clinic in the district to the hospital on May 11 with severe medical complications.
She was diagnosed with dengue fever on the sixth day, besides already suffering from respiratory problems, acute liver infection, kidney failure and digestive hemorrhage.
After 8 days of treatment at the hospital, the girl’s health has gradually improved.
