(ĐN)- Over 1,300 cases of dengue fever, including one death, have been reported in Dong Nai province since early this year, 30 percent lower than those in the same period last year.
Nhon Trach is among localities hardest hit by a spread of dengue fever. So far this year, dengue cases in the district have reached more than 440, an increase of 77 percent compared to the same period last year.
Dong Nai Preventive Medicine Centre has asked its agency in Nhon Trach to enact measures to prevent the disease’s spread, such as raising public awareness and spraying mosquito repellent in high-risk areas.
