(ĐN)- On April 14, Thong Nhat district’s communes implemented mosquito larva killing campaign within households in an effort to prevent dengue fever and Zika virus.
The campaign aims to spread information on how to prevent Zika and dengue fever outbreaks, call for families’ self-protection against mosquitoes by cleaning water containers to remove mosquito larvae and securely covering all water containers to prevent the insect from entering them and laying eggs.
Sixty-one cases of dengue fever have been reported in Thong Nhat district since early this year, up 16 cases compared to the same period of last year.
