(ĐN)- On March 28, Thong Nhat district’s Red Cross Chapter cooperated with Cho Ray Regional Blood Transfusion and Haematology Centre to launch a humanitarian blood donation program, the fourth in 2017.
More than 300 volunteers registered to donate their blood.
Accordingly, the event collected 131 units of bloods, bringing total collected blood units to 700 since the beginning of the year, fulfilling more than 41% of the target.
The chapter plans to organize additional seven campaigns to receive some 1,000 blood units in the remaining months of the year.
