(ĐN)- The 2017 “Xuan Hong” (Pink Spring) blood donation festival kicked off in Dong Nai on February 10.
This year’s event takes place from January 1 to March 31 to raise community awareness about blood donation and to mobilize people to donate blood.
The festival organization board said 4,584 blood units were collected since January 1 until now.
Last year, more than 30,000 units of blood were collected in the province, exceeding the set target and saving more lives of needy patients.
