(ĐN) - Recently, Prudential Vietnam Assurance Private Ltd, Vietnam Children Sponsor Fund and its branch in Dong Nai in cooperation with a delegation of doctors from HCM city and Dong Nai Children Hospital provided free eye check-ups to 700 children in Dinh Quan district.
On this occasion, the doctors have offered children and teachers how to protect and prevent themselves from eye diseases, and free eye tonics.
This is part of an annual program called “Vi anh mat tre tho (For children’s eyes)” which is launched for the fifth time by Prudential VN and carried out between December 2016 and July 2017.
During the program, doctors from Hanoi, HCM city, and local general hospitals will carry out eye checks for nearly 5,500 children in Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang, Lam Dong, Dak Lak, An Giang, Dong Nai and Binh Duong provinces with total funding of nearly VND1.7 billion.
It is estimated that 280 children will be given free eye surgeries to have healthy eyes.
