(ĐN)- Dong Nai reported 204 new HIV cases in the first eleven months of this year, down by 19.3 percent against the same period last year, according to the provincial HIV/AIDS Prevention Centre.
Currently, the province has more than 7,400 people infected with HIV, over 3,300 of whom had progressed to full-blown AIDS while 2,300 others have died.
In Jan-Oct, 265 HIV-positive patients in the locality have access to antiretroviral (ARV) therapy, raising the number of the benefited to 2,525 including 104 children.
