(ĐN) - An increased incidence of dengue and hand-foot-and-mouth disease was reported in Dong Nai, according to the province’s Preventive Medicine Centre.
In September alone, dengue cases in the province reached 270, an increase of 29% compared to previous month. Meanwhile, Dong Nai also reported 263 hand-foot-mouth cases last month, a month-on-month increase of 21 percent.
The health sector is enhancing communication campaigns to raise public awareness of the diseases, especially in vulnerable areas, while related agencies will work to inspect, manage and support disease prevention.
