Earlier, Nguyen Thi Cam Nhung, from Xuan Loc district’s Xuan Thanh commune, was transferred to the hospital from Xuan Loc General Hospital with multiple injuries, including a stab penetrating her chest and through the right ventricle. The doctors decided to perform a cardiotomy to rescue the patient.
The surgery was the 12th of its kind that have been conducted at the hospital. Of them, 10 patients had been saved from the severe injury.
