According to Dr Le Ngan, Head of Dong Nai General Hospital’s Orthopaedic and Trauma Department, recurrent shoulder joint sprain is a shoulder sepration that repeats many times and can badly affect the activities of the arm. This commonly occurs in young people who had traffic accidents, labor accidents and contact sports due to a collision with another player.
Endoscopic surgery on recurrent shoulder sprain is a new and difficult technique, helping to effectively treat the injury and patients recover quickly and exercise as usual.
The cooperation program between Dong Nai General Hospital and PhD. Tang Ha Nam Anh will last until April 2017. Every week, PhD. Tang Ha Nam Anh and lecturers from Medical University of HCM city will have a day working with Dong Nai General Hospital’s doctors to examine and treat patients suffering from recurrent shoulder separation and severe cases will be selected for surgeries. After that, the techniques of shoulder sprain surgery and shoulder joint replacement will be transferred to Dong Nai General Hospital’s doctors.
The transfer of shoulder sprain surgery technique will help local patients to save time and cost.
