(ĐN)- Dong Nai-based Thong Nhat General Hospital has saved life of a patient who had suffered from acute myocardial infarction in two hours of intervention.
Earlier, on February 11, the man named Sin Cam Sui living in Dinh Quan district’s Phu Loi commune was brought to Thong Nhat General Hospital from Dinh Quan Regional General Hospital in a critical situation with ventricular fibrillation due to coronary thrombosis which could threaten to his life.
The hospital’s doctors performed an emergency intervention inserting stents into his coronary artery, which was blocked.
After some days of treatment, Sui’s heath condition has recovered. He now can walk slightly, eat and drink. Sui thanked the doctors and the entire staff at the two hospitals who are whole-hearted and have quick reaction to save his life, expressing his wishes of being always healthy to them in order to save more patients with serious diseases.
