(ĐN)- Additional two rehab centers using the methadone treatment method will be opened in Trang Bom and Dinh Quan districts in 2016, according to Dong Nai provincial HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control Centre.
So far, 1,364 people who had drug addictions have been treated with methadone in four centers across the province. At the centers, patients are provided with free health check-ups and testing as well as free methadone doses that suit their needs, helping them improve their mental and physical health and reintegrate into the community.
The province strives to provide methadone therapy for 100 percent of local addicts by 2020.
