Accordingly, the campaign will focus on popularising the harmful effects of smoking, thus raising their awareness of the law as well as preventing the damage smoking causes, ensuring people’s rights to live and work in a smoking-free environment.
At the meeting, Deputy Director of Health Department Le Quang Trung stressed that there are more than 5,000 chemical components found in cigarette smoke and hundreds of them are harmful to human health. Accordingly, smoking can also increase your risk for cancer of lung, the bladder, throat and mouth, kidneys and pancreas.
