(ĐN)- On August 4, Dinh Quan district’s Red Cross Chapter in coordination with Cho Ray Regional Blood Transfusion and Haematology Centre launched a humanitarian blood donation program.
More than 400 local people, state officials and employees registered to donate their blood.
The event collected 158 units of bloods, bringing total collected blood units to 1,338 since the beginning of the year, fulfilling 90% of the target.
The chapter plans to organize additional three campaigns to receive some 500 blood units in the remaining months of the year.
