Doctor Nguyen Trong Nghia of Dong Nai Children Hospital said the boy named Nguyen Minh Anh, 8, a resident of Dinh Quan district’s Phu Cuong commune, was transferred from the Dau Giay Hospital to Dong Nai Children Hospital on June 26 with a lot of bee stings on his face, head, neck and hands.
The patient was in a panic, the whole body was with edema, and suffered from liver failure.
Doctors urgently performed emergency techniques to save the boy.
Nguyen Van Chien, the boy’s father, said in the afternoon of June 25, while he was spraying herbicide at the field, he and Nghia were attacked by a swarm of bees.
