Last year, 29,000 people registered to donor their blood to help save lives for patients. Of them, 287 individuals, families have donated blood over 15 times and more. The province received 26,500 blood units, fulfilling 94.8% of the yearly target.
On this occasion, the Red Cross Association of Vietnam awarded campaign medals to two blood donors for their outstanding performance for the sake of humanity, and presented certificates of merit to 8 collectives, 22 individuals for their contributions in blood donation campaigns.
