(ĐN)- Nguyen Quang Duc, a pharmacist from Thong Nhat General Hospital, has donated his blood 35 times, saving a lot of lives. He has been shortlisted as one of donors with excellent volunteer deeds in the hospital as well as in Bien Hoa city. Duc says he feels happy to subsidize blood for poor patients who cannot afford to purchase it.
Duc not only gave blood but also called on his family and the whole community to take an active part in blood donation campaigns. His wife has donated blood for at least 20 times. In addition, his two daughters actively participated in humanitarian blood campaigns launched at their schools.
