According to Professor Pham Manh Hung, Chairman of the Vietnam Medicine Association, who was the trainer of the course, in order to make the profession of medicine as the special occupation, more efforts should be made to renew policies related to recruitment, training, use and behaviors towards health workers as well as raise the public awareness on the profession.
He also stressed the important role of propaganda of press agencies that can help people to understand specific characteristics of medicine profession in order to show their respect and sympathies, and have responsibility in taking care of the community health.
On this occasion, the province’s Department of Health held a ceremony to make debut Dong Nai Health Press Club. The 14-member club has 14 members and chaired by Director of Health Department Huynh Minh Hoan.
Also at the event, the department and Dong Nai Newspaper launched a writing contest on typical examples in Dong Nai health sector.
