(ĐN)- Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai of the provincial People’s Committee on Sept 22 presided over a working session with steering board of new Dong Nai General Hospital.
According to report from the leaders, the hospital has completed 95% of first phrase and is preparing to install medical equipment at its functional rooms. The project has been provided VND392 billion since the beginning of the year and needs additional funding to finish on time.

The project’s second phase has basically completed with one basement and 18 floors. According to the plan, Dong Nai General Hospital will move to new location by the end of the first quarter of next year.
At the working session, Department of Health suggested the provincial People’s Committee to fund VND24.6 billion to help the new hospital upgrade facitities and human resources to meet the Joint Commission International (JCI) standard which is the international standard recognized by every hospital in the world.
Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai also asked related agencies to support the hospital to complete the project on schedule.
