(ĐN)- On August 7, a group of doctors and nurses from Rong Min hospital based in Taichung, Taiwan provided free medical check-ups and medicines for disadvantaged people in Dong Nai.
More than 1,600 residents from provincial districts of Tan Phu, Trang Bom, Cam My Dinh Quan, Xuan Loc and Thong Nhat enjoyed benefits from this charitable programme held for the third time by the Vedan Vietnam Company at a cost of approximately VND2 billion.
In addition to offering free healthcare for the poor, Vedan spent over VND4 billion to build gratitude houses, award scholarships for students with difficult circumstances, help AO victims, policy families and underprivileged children.
