(ĐN)- A blood donation campaign was launched in Bien Hoa city of Dong Nai province on August 8.
The programme, co-organized by the provincial Red Cross Association and Cho Ray Regional Blood Transfusion and Haematology Centre, collected 170 units of blood from volunteers who are employees of Sonadezi and Mai Linh Group.
The association highlighted the charitable activity as a contribution to saving many lives.
So far, the Red Cross received more than 18,000 blood units, fulfilling 70% of the year’s target.
