(ĐN)- In the morning of May 23, Bien Hoa city’s Red Cross Chapter in cooperation with Cho Ray Regional Blood Transfusion and Haematology Centre organized a humanitarian blood donation program.
The event received wholehearted support from volunteers who are employees of Dong Nai branch of Dong A bank, Dong Nai Rubber Co., Truong Hai Auto Corp, and collected 109 blood units.
At the same day, around 300 trade union members across the province also donated nearly 300 units of blood in the blood donation campaign which was launched at the vocational training school in Bien Hoa city.
Over the past ten years, the provincial Red Cross Association received 107,800 blood units, meeting more than 90% of the demand in the province.
