(ĐN)- As of May 1, more than 360 cases have been diagnosed with measles in Dong Nai, 38 of them have tested positive to the disease, according to the provincial Preventive Medicine Centre.
Most of the local cases were young children who had missed their vaccination. The youngest patient is 1 months old and the eldest is 40 years old.
The province’s health sector is continuing vaccination campaigns to make sure that 95 percent of total children are vaccinated against measles; the figure is now only 47.5%.
