Measles cases on the rise in Dong Nai

(ĐN)- The number of measles cases is increasing in Dong Nai as of March-end with more than 10 cases daily, according to Dong Nai Paediatrics Hospital.

 

(ĐN)- The number of measles cases is increasing in Dong Nai as of March-end with more than 10 cases daily, according to Dong Nai Paediatrics Hospital.

Until April 16, around 200 patients have been hospitalised for measles, some of them have had serious complications.  

Dong Nai health sector is continuing to monitor developments of the disease to provide timely information for people and introduce preventive measures in the hope of keeping the disease under control across the province.

Over the past time, the sector also strengthened measures against measles, particularly vaccinations for children between 9 and 24 months old, who have not been fully vaccinated against the disease.
