(ĐN)- Hundreds of people across Long Khanh town have actively responded to a blood donation campaign launched by the town’s Red Cross Chapter and Cho Ray Regional Blood Transfusion and Haematology Centre on April 10.
Since the beginning of the year, the province held seven campaigns, attracting more than 1,500 donors and collected 1,507 units of blood, fulfilling 74% of the year’s plan.
The town plans to organise more campaigns in coming time in a bid to collect at least 2,300 units of blood.
Over the past years, the voluntary blood donation movement has spread wide and far with positive achievements.
