(ĐN)- The provincial Steering Board for Food Hygiene and Safety on Friday launched Action Month for Food Hygiene and Safety 2014.
Entitled "Street food safety," the action month aims to raise awareness among organisations and individual about complying with food safety regulations.
The province has set up 186 inspection teams and they will check food quality, hygiene, and safety issues at food enterprises, market, and especially at street food establishments.
As known, there are 12,000 street food establishments in the province. In 2013, 6 out of 7 food poisoning cases caused by the substandard street food.
