Dong Nai is now home to over 13,000 AO/ victims and they are suffering both physical and mental pains caused by dioxin.
Over the past ten years, the association and its chapters have mobilized VND34 billion to provide support for over 3,000 victims, helping them develop their production and stabilize their lives, provide no-interest loans, built and repaired charity houses, offered free medical check-ups and medicine, presented wheelchairs, etc.
The association also built a rehabilitation centre in Dinh Quan district which is expected to provide functional rehabilitation for the victims with the aim to improve the quality of the victims’ life by helping them integrate into the community with rehabilitation techniques, aid facilities and knowledge on the field.
