(ĐN)- Ho Chi Minh City Paediatrics Hospital 2 and Dong Nai Paediatrics Hospital on October 1 signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on improving health care for local children.
Under the MoU, the province’s hospital will be raised to the satellite intensive care unit of the HCMC Paediatrics Hospital 2 by 2015.
The HCMC-based hospital will help better Dong Nai hospital’s doctors’ skills in pediatric and surgery, improve patient care techniques, and conduct further training for hospital staff.
The project to upgrade the hospital has a total investment of VND41.3 billion, of which more than VND55 billion is spent for surgical instruments, and care facilities.
It aims to provide better healthcare for children in the locality and limit the number of patients who must transfer to the city’s hospitals for treatment.
