(ĐN)- Dong Nai collected 195 units of blood at a blood donation day on July 31.
The event was launched by the provincial Steering Committee of Voluntary Blood Donation in collaboration with Cho Ray Regional Blood Transfusion and Haematology Centre and Dong Nai General Hospital, in response to “Pink drops of blood” summer campaign.

Chairwoman of the provincial Red Cross Association donates blood at the event.
The summer campaign, from May 8 to September 2, aims to mobilize more than 7,500 blood units. Since the beginning of the year, Dong Nai received 19,967 units of donated blood, fulfilling 79.8 % of the whole year’s target.
With the message of “A drop of blood can save life”, the campaign is expected to receive wholehearted support from local people to help save many unfortunate lives.
