(ĐN)- On July 1, Dong Nai Departments of Health and Social Insurance jointly held a meeting to mark Vietnam’s Health Insurance Day (July 1).
Over the past three years since the Health Insurance Law took effect, Dong Nai has seen a yearly increase of the number of people taking part in health insurance, from 56% in 2010 to 62.25% in the first half of 2013.
Presently, the province has 201 hospitals and health clinics providing health care for people with heath insurance cards.
In the first half of this year, around 2 million health insurance card holders across the province received medical check-ups and treatment totaling VND474 billion.
