(ĐN)- Under 6-year-old children in Dong Nai province will have a chance to drink milk at their kindergartens under the “milk for schools” programme approved by the provincial People’s Committee. Accordingly, each child will drink 200 ml of milk three times a week.
This is part of the province’s efforts to reduce child malnutrition rate in the locality.
The programme, which runs from September 2013 to December 2014, costs VND18.4 billion with 50 percent coming from the state budget, 10 percent from the milk supplier and the remaining from children’s parents.
