(ĐN)- The Ministry of Health plans to develop 15 satellite hospitals across the country in 2013, with the aim of relieving overcrowded conditions in major hospitals.
Four of the satellite hospitals are in Dong Nai. Particularly, the Pediatrics Hospital 2 will choose Dong Nai Pediatrics Hospital as its satellite unit; Cho Ray Hospital will have two satellite hospitals in the province, including Thong Nhat and Dong Nai General Hospitals; similarly, HCM City Tumour Hospital will also choose Dong Nai General Hospital.
The satellite hospitals will be provided with technical assistance and capital to upgrade infrastructure, buy equipment and train staff.
