(ĐN)- On May 24, Bien Hoa city carried out a campaign to kill mosquito larva, clean up the environment, and provide information about dengue fever prevention to local people.
The city has reported a sharp increase in dengue fever cases this month. Some 300 cases of the mosquito-borne illness were confirmed in Bien Hoa city since the beginning of the year, accounting for over 30% of dengue cases in the province.
To cope with the disease, the city’s preventive medicine offices are required to tighten supervision over the disease and set up teams providing guidance to local residents about disease prevention and treatment.
