A helipad is under construction on the rooftop of the hospital’s building.
The helicopter emergency service would be for patients in Dong Nai and neighboring areas such as Binh Duong, Binh Thuan and Lam Dong, Vu said. The hospital only clinched the helicopter leasing agreement with Hoan My, and that the hospital would own no helicopter.
The hospital has just completed the first phase of construction, including one basement and 18 levels with total floor space of about 70,000 square meters. It is described as one of the most modern hospitals in Southeast Asia.
