7,000 blood units to be donated during Tet

(ĐN)- A blood donation campaign has been being launched by the Dong Nai province’s Red Cross Association during January and February to respond to the Pink Spring Festival 2013 with a message “Donating a drop of blood for hope”.

(ĐN)- A blood donation campaign has been being launched by the Dong Nai province’s Red Cross Association during January and February to respond to the Pink Spring Festival 2013 with a message “Donating a drop of blood for hope”.

The campaign is expected to attract the participation of some 10,000 local people and collect 5,000 units of blood.

Until now, more than 2,000 volunteers registered to donate 1,908 blood units for hospitals.

The Pink Spring Festival is organized annually by the National Institute of Haematology and Blood Transfusion aiming to ease the blood shortage in the health sector after Tet holiday.
