The second phase of construction of the Dong Nai General Hospital in Bien Hoa City has begun with one basement and 18 floors, at a total investment of VND1.26 trillion.
The building will cover an area of 70,000 square meters and is expected to complete in 30 months. Once complete, the new construction and the existing Dong Nai General Hospital will be able to support space for 1,400 hospital beds, and services comparable to those in major hospitals in South East Asia. The new structure will also function as a satellite hospital for other hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City.
Dong Nai General Hospital has a charter capital of VND270 billion. It was founded by the Cotec Group which has a 42 percent stake in it while Dong Nai General Hospital holds 40 percent stake, and Cotecland Company owning 18 percent stake.
