(ĐN)- Van Hien high school’s teachers and students donated 278 blood units during this year’s first blood donation day which has been held last week.

The event was organized by Long Khanh town’s Red Cross Chapter.

“Blood shortages have happened frequently from year to year in the hospitals, especially during the Tet period due to lack of donors,” said the organizers.

Blood collection during the event aims to ease the risk of shortages for emergencies and treatments in local hospitals during Tet.
