Dong Nai’s 45 communes face high child malnutrition rates

(ĐN)- The high rates of child malnutrition are recorded in 45 communes of Dong Nai province according to Dong Nai province's Reproductive Health Care Centre. So far, the number of children suffering from malnutrition in the province has reached more than 6,600 and nearly 900 of them suffered from grade 2 malnutrition.

The two districts of Tan Phu and Dinh Quan have the high levels of child malnutrition in the province.

The province's Reproductive Health Care Centre plans to design and implement a nutritional rehabilitation program for severely malnourished children under five and women with low weight gains during pregnancy living in the communes with high levels of malnutrition in order to improve the their health and development.
