(ĐN)- On Oct 28, Dinh Quan district’s Red Cross Chapter in cooperation with Cho Ray Regional Blood Transfusion and Haematology Centre launched a humanitarian blood donation event. This was the nineth time that Dinh Quan district has organized blood donation program in 2011.
The event attracted the enthusiastic participation of more than 300 volunteers across the district and collected 265 blood units.
At the same time, Xuan Loc district’s Red Cross Chapter also launched its sixth blood donation program. More than 200 volunteers registered to take part in this socially meaningful event; 165 of them were selected to donate blood after conduction the screening tests. Accordingly, 165 blood units were collected and provided to hospitals.
