88 poor children get free surgeries

(ĐN)- On July 30, Dong Nai provincial Children Sponsoring Fund in cooperation with Trang Bom district General Hospital provided free surgeries to 88 poor children who suffer from urinary tract infection in Trang Bom and Cam My districts. Besides, these children received free medicines and VND100,000 in cash.

Earlier, the provincial Children Sponsoring Fund has coordinated with HCM city-based Trieu An Hospital to provide heart examinations to 222 children who have symptoms of heart disease across the province. Accordingly, 77 of them were diagnosed with heart disease and will get free surgeries in the coming time.

Over the past six months, 37 children suffering congenital heart disease get free surgeries.
