(ĐN)- On August 27, 150 poor blind people living in Bien Hoa city got eye operations free of charge. The program was launched by HD Bank in cooperation with HCMC Poor Patients Sponsor Association and Bien Hoa General Hospital.

Ealier, Dinh Quan district’s Red Cross Chapter cooperated with HCM city-based Nhan Ai Hospital provided free eye surgeries to 117 poor people who are cataract sufferers and trichiasis patients living in the district.
Total cost of the surgeries was VND130 million, funded by Thailand’s Consulate General in HCM City.
