(ĐN)- Outbreak of dengue fever is threatening Dong Nai province, with 30-40 people with the disease being hospitalised per day, according to the Provincial Preventive Medicine Centre.
A total of 1,447 dengue cases with three death have been reported across Dong Nai province since the beginning of this year.
The death cases were reported in Bien Hoa city, Dinh Quan and Thong Nhat districts. Bien Hoa city saw the highest number of cases and the city reported one-third of all dengue cases recorded provincewide.
The Provincial Preventive Medicine Centre has supplied about 10 tons of Chloramine B for disinfection in affected areas.
