Phu Hoa lotus fields burst into bloom

Nestled amid the tranquil countryside of Phu Hoa commune in Dong Nai City, vast lotus ponds and fields are now in full bloom, blanketing the landscape in soft shades of pink. The blooming lotus fields have become a popular destination for visitors seeking peaceful rural scenery and scenic photo opportunities.

Phu Hoa is home to more than 50 hectares of lotus cultivation, with local farmers tending the plants year-round. Although lotus flowers bloom several times each year, the most spectacular displays typically occur in February, March, June, July and November, when lotus flowers bloom across the ponds, creating a striking contrast with the lush green leaves.

From early morning until late afternoon, visitors and photography enthusiasts flock to the area to capture the idyllic scenery. Visitors dressed in traditional ao dai, ao ba ba costumes and other colorful outfits add to the picturesque setting of the southern Vietnamese countryside.

Nguyen Thi Ai Vy, a visitor from Binh Duong ward in Ho Chi Minh City, said she was impressed during her first visit to the lotus fields. "The lotus fields are spacious and peaceful. The flowers are beautiful and carry a delicate fragrance. Simply standing among them makes all the stress of daily life seem to disappear. I will definitely return during future blooming seasons," she said.
